Some people love her for being so nice. Some people hate her for being so nice. Either way, there is no denying that she is nice!
This weekend, Taylor Swift dropped by Boston Children’s Hospital, with no intention of documenting the event, to visit 6-year-old Jordan Lee Nickerson.
At 9 months old, Jordan was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, and just 9 months later he had to have open-heart-surgery. On top of everything Jordan has had to face over the past 6 years, he was just diagnosed with Leukemia last month.
Thankfully, Taylor Swift decided to head to the hospital and spread her sunshine exclusively to little brave Jordan.
And when she showed up, she didn’t just say “hi”. Taylor engaged with Jordan about his interests, told him that she would sing him any song he wanted to hear and she took him on in air hockey.
While Taylor’s acts can’t help but make you smile, Jordan’s response to the whole thing is what really warms our hearts.

As we have learned over the years, Taylor’s latest hospital visit was just one of her many selfless acts of kindness.
Those who live in the Boston area may also remember her 5 hour visit to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence last year. Her visit to Hasbro was kept so quiet that no one knew about it until after she left, and there wasn’t even any video taken during the 5-hour photo-op. Major props, T Swift!
And let’s not forget about her infamous gifts. Last year, Taylor sent a very special gift to the son of one of Mix’s employees at the time.
Sue Brady’s son had the opportunity of meeting Taylor Swift backstage at her Gillette Stadium show, and although he got to hang out with her for the better part of an hour, she had an even bigger surprise in store for him.
A few days after the concert had gone by, a delivery driver dropped off a rather large package for Sue Brady’s son — from Taylor Swift!
Inside was a hand painted, signed guitar, five Lego playsets, and a note from Taylor to CJ:
“I sent you a few gifts because you were the friendliest, most outgoing boy, and that really brightened my day.”

Although Taylor’s generosity goes way beyond our local stories, we think she may have a soft spot for Boston.
